Sydney Hineline is the club coordinator at OPVC. She communicates with OPVC players and their families throughout the season, manages hotel bookings for the club, and runs our social media accounts.

She has been coaching club volleyball for 9 years. She coached 12’s and 13’s in the Pioneer region while she went to school at the University of Kentucky. She returned to Cincinnati in 2020 to finish her masters and has coached OP 11U and 12U teams for 5 years. She loves the 5th and 6th grade age group, where players are excited to learn, have fun and grow immensely throughout their club season.

In 2024, her 11-1 team finished 9th place in the gold bracket of AAU Nationals after an incredible season. 2023, her 11-1 team finished 2nd in the Ohio Valley Region. This team made it to the gold bracket at all 8 of their tournaments, while playing in the highest division of play. She looks forward to another successful season in 2025.

Sydney started playing club volleyball in the 4th grade and went on to play at the national level for 7 years. She was a 3-year varsity setter for Sycamore High School.

Sydney recently finished her 6-year enlistment as a member of the Kentucky Air National Guard. She now works in health education research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
