Summer Shinkle is an OPVC alumni who has been playing volleyball since the 3rd grade. Summer was on OPVC's 5th grade team in our first year as a club! She spent 7 seasons at OPVC, finishing her playing career on our 17-1 National team competing in the open level.

Summer coached our 10U Pre Club team in the Spring of 2024 before graduating from Loveland High School! During her playing career as a libero for Loveland, she was first team in the ECC, second team all city, and was invited to compete in the senior showase match. She is now a freshman at the University of Cincinnati, where she is the libero on the women's club volleyball A team!
