Aidan Tyra

This is Aiden's first season as a coach at OPVC, but he started with us as a player! He began his volleyball career in 7th grade. He played four years at Archbishop Alter High School where he was all-state and and an all-american nominee. Aidan was also a member of OPVC's first ever 18-1s team in the 2019-2020 season. He then went on to play club volleyball at the University of Dayton where his team was able to finish top 10 nationally all three years and served as president his senior year. While he was at UD, Aidan also assisted with the varsity D1 women's team as a practice player who was activately involved with the program and the coaching staff for three years. Throughout his career, he has played libero, setter, opposite, and outside. He is a recent graduate of UD and just began work as a civil engineer in the Cincinnati area.
